DNB PDCET will be held on 21st December 2017. PDCET Dec 2017 Result will be announced on 21st January 2018. The National Board of Examinations is conducting PDCET for offering admission into various post diploma DNB courses. It is mandatory for candidates to appear in the entrance test in order to gain admission to the desired post diploma course. Interested aspirants can apply for the Post Diploma CET examination by registering online at pdcet.natboard.edu.in. only after the registration is done, applicants can proceed to fill in other required details, upload photograph, signature and other relevant documents in the online application form and make payment of the application fee through online mode.

DNB PDCET admission process has commenced. You can register yourself for the exam through the online application form from October 30, 2017. You can last register yourself till November 27, 2017. The DNB PDCET entrance exam is a ranking examination conducted to grant admission to candidates in the post diploma courses offered by DNB. This entrance exam is conducted twice in a year. It is an computer based objective type entrance exam. The questions asked in the exam will be based on the syllabus of an MBBS exit level course. You will be allotted seats on the basis of the merit scored by you in the entrance test.

DNB PDCET 2017 Eligibility

We would advise the candidate to go through the information thoroughly before the begin their online registration to ensure that they fulfill all the criterias laid down by the official authority. However, we have listed down a few of the criterion laid down by the official body for your reference.

Candidates who will qualify their post graduate diploma from a recognised university before 31 Dec 2017.
They will have to submit the proof that they will pass their post graduate diploma on or before 31 Dec 2017.
Students getting their results for the qualifying exam after 31 Dec 2017 will not be allowed to appear in the exam.
Candidates already pursuing a MD/MS/DNB course are not eligible to appear for DNB-PDCET
To appear in the entrance exam registration with M.C.I./State Medical Council is necessary.

DNB PDCET Application Form 2017

The application form for DNB PDCET will be available in the online mode on the official website. It should be noted that application form will not be accepted in the offline mode. Incomplete application form will be rejected. Application forms for DNB PDCET furnishing incorrect information about the candidate will result in the disqualification of the candidate. The application fees for the DNB PDCET entrance exam is Rs 4500. The payment for the registration fees can be done only in the online mode through net banking or using debit/ credit cards. The application fees once paid will not be refunded or forwarded under any circumstances. At the end of the registration process you will get a computer generated acknowledgement at the registered email id
DNB PDCET Admit Card December 2017

The admit card for the DNB PDCET will be issued once the registration process has been conducted successfully. The Admit card will be issued to the candidate once the test centre venue has been allotted to the candidate by NBE. This information will be based on the city chosen by the candidate during online registration.

The test venue allocation will be done 4 days before the entrance exam. You will be notified about the issuance of admit card via a text message and a public notice regarding the availability of the admit card will also be sent on your registered email ID.

You will have to download the admit card and paste a latest passport size photo of yourself on the admit card. The photo should have the minimum dimension of 35×45 mm with at least 75% coverage of face & head. It should also indicate the name and the date on which the photo has been captured. The background of the photo should be white. The photograph needs to be printed on a high quality paper with at least 600 dpi Resolutions. Please note that the admit card will not be sent to you via post.
You need to carry the following list of document along with you on the day of exam.

A valid admit card with your photo affixed on it.
Photocopy of Permanent or Provisional SMC/MCI registration.
A valid ID proof. PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport,  Aadhaar Card (with photograph).

Demo Test for DNB PDCET

A demo test will be available on the official website www.nbe.edu.in for the candidates to familiarize themselves with the Computer Based Test format. Candidates who have registered themselves for the examination will be able to take the demo test from the 1 Dec 2017.
DNB PDCET Exam Scheme

DNB PDCET entrance exam is conducted twice a year. It is an MBBS exit level exam. This exam is a computer based objective entrance test. Students will be granted admission in the various post diploma courses offered by DNB on the basis of the merit scored by them in the entrance exam. Students who qualify the entrance exam will be further called for the centralised counselling process.The exam will have 300 multiple choice questions. 4 marks will be allotted for every correct response and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect response. The exam will be conducted only in English medium and duration of the exam will be of 3 hours.

You must report the exam center at least 2 hours prior the commencement of exam to complete your biometric registration. The table below lists down the total number of questions asked from the different subjects.

Results for DNB PDCET

The results for DNB PDCET is likely to be declared on 21 Jan 2018. The result will be published will issued in the online mode on the official website. DNB PDCET results will be issued as a merit list. The merit list for DGO, DMRD, DMRT, DORTHO, DOMS, DLO, DA, DVD, DPM, DCH, DNM, DTCD, DPMR, DCP and Emergency Medicine etc. will be published separately. The result for DNB PDCET will be valid for the same admission session and will not be carried forward.
