According to officials, DNB CET 2016 cut off score is the minimum mark which must be secured by candidates to qualify in the entrance test. As per the exam conducting body, National Board of Examinations (NBE) the minimum cut off mark to qualify DNB CET 2016 is 50% for general category candidates. Based on DNB CET 2016 cut off score examination authority will prepare the merit list of all the qualified candidates. As per the rank in DNB CET 2016 January session merit list candidates will be called for counselling. While deriving DNB CET 2016 January session result examination authority follows a standard psychometrically-sound approach for evaluating the scoring process. During post-equating, test items are concurrently analyzed and the estimated item parameters (item difficulty and discrimination) are put onto a common metric. Post equating takes into account any statistical differences in examination difficulty and ensures all candidates are evaluated on a common scale.

DNB CET 2016 Tie Breaker Criteria:

Candidate who has passed all MBBS professional Examinations in First attempt shall be placed at higher merit position

Candidate with higher aggregate marks (in percentage) in all MBBS professional Examinations shall be placed at higher merit position

Candidate with higher aggregate marks (in percentage) in 3rd MBBS professional Examination (Part I & Part- II) shall be placed a t higher merit position

Candidate with higher aggregate marks (in percentage) in 2nd MBBS professional Examination shall be placed at higher merit position

Candidate with higher aggregate marks (in percentage) in 1st MBBS professional Examination shall be placed at higher merit position

DNB CET 2016 is national level entrance exam conducted by National Board of Examinations (NBE) for admission to as many 748 seats in approximately 30 disciplines of higher studies in medical speciality courses. DNB CET 2016 for the January session is scheduled to be conducted from November 28, 2015 to Decemner 1, 2015 at various alloted centres in an online mode. The holders of Board’s qualification awarded after an examination i.e. DNB CET are eligible to be considered for specialist’s post/faculty in any Hospital including a training/teaching institution on a teaching post/as a faculty member.
