Shenton line is an imaginary line drawn along the inferomedial border of the femoral neck and the inferior border of the superior pubic ramus.
It is named after Edward Warren Hine Shenton, an English radiologist.
In a normal X-ray, the line is uninterrupted and smooth.
If the Shenton line is interrupted, it can indicate:
    Fracture neck of femur
Congenital dislocation of hip (Developmental dysplasia of hip)
