There is a case going against AIR-2 counselling. Reversion of seats from AIQ to state stayed. Next hearing on 27th.
In the meantime students have been asked by wbmcc to opt out from State counselling by 23rd April.
If we don’t opt out and we are allotted a seat in state R-2, we can’t take that as resigning from AIR-2 is not allowed. So we have to pay Rs. 5 lakh penalty to state.
If we do opt out and then court nullifies AIR-2, we lose both our opportunities.
