Simulation surgery helps Portuguese kids conquer fear of doctors (Learning World: S5E17, part 2/3)

Children fear many things, for example visiting a doctor. At a hospital in northern Portugal, simulation workshops for kids are helping them to overcome their fear of doctors and nurses. The hospital’s initiative has been hugely successful and plans are underway to invite kids from other schools from across the wider region. The staff have also created a blog with quotes from children talking about their experience of the workshop. How can we learn to control or overcome our fears and phobias?
