Once I touched down at Heathrow this night with my wife and 4 children, only then did I feel that my Plab Journey had truly ended.

It was an interesting journey.

TIMELINE:

25th May,2017: Took IELTS Academic.(passed)

2nd November,2017: Plab 1 exam.(passed)

18th December,2017: Visa application for Plab 2( Denied,cover note 11 pages)

14 April,2018: Visa application for Plab 2( received,cover Note 14 pages)

4th May,2018: Commenced EPIC certificate verification

9th May to 5th June: Plab 2 prep at Common Stations Academy.

6th June,2018: Plab 2 exam.
4th July,2018: Received Plab 2 result.(passed)

8th July 2018: Got in touch with a Job Agency

11th July,2018: Sent my CV to the agency

20th July,2018: 1st and only Job interview( Skype,lasted 35minutes)

25th July,2018: I was offered the job (Specialty Registrar in Emergency medicine).

27th July,2018: Took UKVI IELTS

29th July,2018: Received the job offer letter.( accepted the job)

1st August,2018: GMC ID Check in Manchester

3rd August,2018: Received my Certificate of Sponsorship( COS) with maintenance covered for me and dependants.

6th August,2018: UKVI ielts result( Passed)

14th August,2018: Applied for Tier 2 Visa for myself and 5 dependants( with guidance from the job agency, no cover note)

3rd September,2018: Received the Tier 2 Visa for 6 of us.

10th September,2018. Landed at Heathrow, picked up by a driver sent from the agency and brought to our temporary accommodation.

What a process!!! But totally worth it!!!

I had earlier discussed IELTS and PLAB 1 here,so I will be focusing on my Plab 2 experience, Job Search, Tier 2 Visa process and Family relocation in detail tomorrow.
