MD Radiotherapy from Govt clg or drop for next year for a better branch?
Choice is urs… if set up is good for that subject, can choose it…
Very nice future…if you join good cancer institution
No emergency. …enough patient exposure. …good clinical experience
Pros:- If good institute, you will learn a lot. You will deal Chemotherapy patients too, will always stay in a Medical college or top institute of that level.
Still Very few people in this field, although field is growing.
You may go for DM, Oncology.
Less competition and good for long term.
You can’t start your own set up easily, specially with low investment. Radiation exposure chances if precautions not followed. Your patients will be all terminally ill. You will not be famous as a life saving doctor. You will try to save lives but cancer will not allow you to win always.
Slow start, not like anaesthetics and radiodiagnosis persons.
Well I myself opted this year Radiotherapy bikaner… C’mon hope for the best. I am optimistic about it. Will stay at medical college and will spend quality time with family.
Do not demean any branch .Its better if tell pros and cons than demeaning a branch .
Me too has taken it from tata-cancer-hospital-mumbai m very happy about it in general people don’t have much idea about it that’s why they say kuch Nahi hoga, waste field or give negative comments first talk to a specialist of that field than only comment careers r also beyond of medicine, obs n Gynec, surgery n Pediatric
