JIPMER PG Result 2018

JIPMER PG 2018 result has been displayed on the website of JIPMER (link is provided above). It has been declared on 24th November 2017. The merit list has been prepared on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in the examination. On the basis of rank obtained in the entrance test, admission will be provided to the students. Candidates can download their rank letter from 27th November 2017. No individual communication will be send to any candidates.

JIPMER PG Counselling 2018

On the basis of merit obtained in the entrance exam, candidates will be shortlisted to attend the counselling round. The admission to the candidates will be provided strictly on the basis of entrance exam. A category rank will be prepared by the authority. The counselling for MD/MS courses will be organized on 12th December (Pwd/OPH) & 13th December (for others category). It will be conducted through offline mode.

JIPMER PG 2018 Application Form

Candidates can apply for JIPMER PG 2018 (July Session) only through online mode.
There will be no offline mode to apply for the examination.
JIPMER PG 2018 application form for January session for MD/MS & DM/MCh courses will be available from 28th February 2018.
Candidates filled the application form till 2nd April 2018.
After the submission of application form, candidates will not allowed to make any correction in the application form.
Candidates have to opt three exam center during form filling.
Upload your recent colour passport size photograph & signature (in jpg/jpeg format) with file size 20KB to 200KB.
The photograph must be taken on or after 1st July 2017.
At last, take the printout of filled-in application form for future record.

Application Fee:

The application fee can be remitted through Net Banking/Credit card/Debit card only.
The application fee for UR/OBC/OCI/Sponsored will be Rs. 1500/-.
For SC/ST candidates, the application fee will be Rs. 1200/-.
For NRI candidates, the application fee will be Rs. 3000/-.
OPH candidates are exempted from the application fee.
The application fee is non-refundable.

Eligibility Criteria

In this section, candidates can check the eligibility criteria of JIPMER PG 2018 (MD/MS):

Nationality: Candidate must be an Indian citizen or Overseas Citizen of India.
Qualifying Exam: Candidate must hold the MBBS Degree or its equivalent from a recognized University/institution which falls under Medical Council of India.
Experience: Must complete the rotatory internship training on or before 31st December, 2017.
Minimum Qualifying Marks: Candidates should secure minimum 55% marks (for all other categories including OBC), 50% marks (SC/ST Category).
Candidate should also register with Central/State Medical Registration Council.

JIPMER PG Admit Card 2018

Admit card can be downloaded from the website. The JIPMER 2018 Admit card is a mandatory document to enter the examination hall. Admit card will be released in the month of April 2018 (for July session). The hall ticket contain the roll no., the name of the candidate, date of birth, photo, signature and exam center/venue/date. Candidates should save their admit card till the admission process not over. Candidates should carry only Hall Ticket along with Valid Identity proof (in original) & photocopy (Xerox) of the same ID proof inside the hall.\

JIPMER PG Exam Pattern 2018

The exam pattern for MD/MS courses is given below:

Mode of Exam: JIPMER PG is the single-shift online based exam.
Duration of Exam: The duration of the whole examination is 180 minutes.
Type of Exam: The question paper will consist of Multiple Choice Questions.
Language: The question paper will be asked in English language only.
Numbers of Questions: There are total 250 questions in the test.
Marking Scheme: 4 marks will be given for each correct response.
Negative marking: 1 mark will be deducted for choosing a wrong response.
