JIPMER PG 2018 - Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry will conduct JIPMER PG 2018 entrance exam for admissions to Master of Surgery (MS) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) programmes that are offered under Clinical and Basic Clinical subjects. It is a national level online entrance exam that is held twice a year in January and July. JIPMER PG Admit Card 2018
Admit Card of JIPMER PG 2018 for January session is available in online mode from November 1 till November 19, 2017. Candidates will be required to download it by entering their application number and password provided to them at the time of online registration. The admit card will display detail such as candidate’s name, application number, date of birth, exam centre address, etc.
JIPMER PG 2018 Eligibility Criteria
Only those aspirants, who have completed their MBBS along with the compulsory rotatory internship of one year and have obtained a registration number from Medical Council of India or any State Medical Council, are eligible to apply for JIPMER PG 2018. Moreover, only Indian Nationals, Overseas citizens of India and Foreign Nationals can appear for JIPMER PG 2018.
JIPMER PG 2018 Application Form
Application Form of JIPMER PG 2018 for January session has been made available in online mode from September 11, 2017, onwards. Online registration closing date will be October 20. Application fee can be filled via credit card/debit card/net banking only. Online registrations of JIPMER PG 2018 for July session will commence from the second week of March 2018. The last date to fill the application form will be the third week of April 2018.
The cost of JIPMER PG 2018 Application Form is Rs. 1500 for General/OBC and Rs. 1200 for SC/ST category candidates. The application fee amount is Rs.3000 for NRI/OCI candidates. Along with the cost of the application fee, all the candidates will have to pay transaction charges of online fee payment as well.

JIPMER PG 2018 Exam Centres
Exam Centres of JIPMER PG 2018 are the list of cities where the postgraduate medical entrance exam will be held on November 19. The exam is expected to be held in 10 cities across India. While filling the application form, applicants will be required to choose any three test cities as per their convenience. Allotment of JIPMER PG 2018 centre will be done on the basis of first come first serve basis. No request for a change in the examination city will be entertained.
JIPMER PG 2018 Answer Key
As the entrance exam is held in online mode, Answer Key of JIPMER PG 2018 will not be published by the exam conducting body, the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, Puducherry. Moreover, any medical coaching institute will also not publish the answer key.
JIPMER PG 2018 Result
The result of JIPMER PG 2017 for January session admissions has been declared. Candidates, who appeared in the PGIMER 2018 entrance exam, can check their result in online mode in the form of merit lists. Candidates will be able to download their rank letters from November 27, 2017. JIPMER PG 2018 Result has only been released for candidates shortlisted for JIPMER PG counselling rounds.
JIPMER PG 2018 Cutoff
The cutoff of JIPMER PG 2018 is the minimum score that has to be secured by the applicant to qualify the exam. It is decided by the exam conducting body and varies for different categories.
The qualifying marks or percentile for general category candidate is 50. However, candidates belonging to Schedule Caste, Schedules Tribe or Other Backward Classes including OPH, the minimum qualifying percentile is 40. In respect of Unreserved Orthopedic Physically Challenged (OPH) candidates, 45 is the minimum percentile.
JIPMER PG 2018 Merit List
Merit List of JIPMER PG 2018 will consist of candidate’s name, All India Rank, marks obtained, etc. It will be based on percentile method. The percentile is determined on the basis of average marks obtained by first top ten candidates in JIPMER PG 2018. The validity of the JIPMER PG 2018 merit list will only be till the current academic session, and cannot be forwarded to the next session.
JIPMER PG 2018 Counselling
Counselling of JIPMER PG 2018 for January session will be conducted in three rounds between December 13, 2017, and January 30, 2018.
