Latest development by GMC is good step for IMGs specially when securimg job without GMC registration is abit difficult these days.
Let me clarify and simplify few things.
Now there will be no separate ID check.
When u go for plab 2, take ID document as mentioned in email and they will save info.
Once plab 2 is cleared, just like before, candidate will start GMC registration application.
follwing docs will be needed
- PMQ Verified by ECFMG through EPIC ( can be done any time e.g b4 plab 1, after plab 1, before or after plab 2…this needs to be done b4 u apply for gmc registration
- GOod standing certificate ( best is ur regulatory body or council with which u wr or r registered send it directly to GMC and if that is not possible thn u can scan and email it. Recently gmc ia stressing that council should email em)
- Valid IELTS
- Passport copy (make sure both photo and signature page is scanned)
- Internship certificates
When u email these to gmc, they verify and if they dnt need anything thn u will be granted GmC registration.
Thats it.
You dnt need to go again for ID CHECK.
