DNB CET Exam Analysis Day 3, Session 1

Overall Difficulty Level – Moderate:

As per the poll results, the Session 1 of June 17, 2017 included moderate level questions. Many candidates shared that many questions appeared from previous years. Exam was not lengthy and one could easily go through all the questions at least once.

Deciders/High Weightage Subjects:

Decider or the Subject that could bring a rewarding difference to your overall ranking was Biochemistry. Followed by Biochemistry, many questions were seen from Obs & Gynae and Anatomy.

Low Weightage Subjects:

Orthopedics carried considerably low weightage in the Morning shift that was followed by Pediatrics and Anesthesia.

Pattern of Questions:

Again, ‘One-liners’ dominated the Morning session of Day 3 exam.

Surprisingly, some clinical questions also appeared this time.

As per the reviews, most of the questions were factual, memory based.

Repeated questions were also seen; some were direct while some were asked in an indirect manner. Options of many questions were confusing.

Almost every topic was covered in the exam and depending on the results of poll about 2-3 questions were asked from maximum of topics.

Image-Based Questions:

This session comprised of about 10 Image-Based MCQs. 3-4 image based questions were on instruments and 3-4 CT scans and MRI questions appeared this time. Moreover, some radiological images were also repeated.

There are of 300 questions in total in DNB CET exam.
