Option `b’ requires specific mention here because different books have different opinion regarding the most common site of fracture.

Though some textbooks have mentioned the middle third as the most common site for clavicle fracture, most textbooks have mentioned the junction of medial 2/3rd and lateral 1/3rd as the commonest site of fracture.
According to me most common site of clavicle fracture is at the junction of medial 2/3rd and lateral 1/3rd.
