1lac as tuition fees for 19 subjects in coaching institutes

1lac as tuition fees for 19 subjects in coaching institutes…
It amounts to 5000 RS per subject.
If we do individual classes 5000rs is what they take per subject.
Each class has 300-500 students.
The teacher earns almost 5 lacs per day.
What according to u is this type of method?

Looting the innocent M.b.b.s people. They are playing the game of fear.

If i would have studied during my mbbs time. There is no need for these kind of teachers. Self study is the best study

Genuine money… The teachers should earn.
+82

The teachers who taught in mbbs time dont know anything. These coaching teachers are the best.

Satellite classes which occur have very little expenses, all they need is an auditorium with AC thats it and that same video is played in all the classes

If the colleges start taking MBBS students seriously and teach them in the way they need to be taught there will be no need for us to go to these kind of classes … Yes it is a loot coz we ppl have no other option.

True… but it is the students who are at fault… it is us… A student who thoroughly studies his four years… reads all the good books… No one can stop him/her from getting a good rank… Many Mbbs students nowadays start their coaching from 2nd yr and 3rd year itself… still they don’t get a good rank… coaching institute never decides your rank… it is you and only you who decide the rank…This looting system of the coaching institutes should stop… They should charge less …

That’s the whole point sir
MBBS students are being taught like as if it is just a formality to teach them coz everyone knows that in near future they’ll be going through coaching classes for post graduation entrance preparation.
The speciality and superspeaciality culture has ruined us and the level of education of MBBS.
The day medical colleges provide knowledge authentically and systematically these coaching institutes will not be required as they are required now which will lead them to charge less.
And I agree that students are also at fault but not in the way that you are telling sir
They are at fault because thay are not trying to become a good doctor throughout the UG all they are trying is to get into speciality courses.
I might not be fully correct sir

i beg to differ…
this calculation is flawed
are the teachers taking these classes on open grounds… with no electricity
… or toilet facilities

no

just subtract the cost of
ac auditorium
money used for marketing
books printing
etc

if u see whole picture u will understand that teachers end up much less

no one has forced us to take classes…

This is the exact argument the public gives when they complain about high consultation fees of doctors. At that time we are up in arms saying that they don’t look at the efforts we take to reach at the level to command such fees. Don’t you think a teacher is entitled to put a premium on the knowledge that he/she has acquired and providing to you in a concise and coherent manner?

Then we can also file a law suit for compensation amount in crores after failing in entrance like ppl file and get after failure of treatment

How much you may debate, some things are unchangeable… Coaching is must after mbbs… Only few can get a pg without coaching…

What an idioic post.
No one is forcing you to go.
They provide a service and are running a business. They are advertising and Calling their services essential.
You can still not go and get PG all by yourself.

Why are you talking like the people who blame specialists for having a high consultation fee? They are good at something. Tbey certainly won’t do it for free. They will earn as much as they can.

Everyone has the option of not going. There is no coercion anywhere.

Why don’t you crack PG without help and then start a free service teaching people how to do it? That would be the perfect answer to these coaching institutes.
I think that would be a better use of your time than posting here, complaining and trying to gain public sympathy.

I’v given 4 options just because of that… it’s good you have an opinion…!!! High fees is certainly their choice because they work hard to teach the students… and people are paying too… but when you find the names of coaching institutes in almost every city where there is medical college it just shocks you… you tend to think had I attended those classes from third year I would have secured a much better rank… and then the fear factor starts… the institute earns a lot of money… everyone has done a coaching because we know they are good in what they are… but a just - pass Mbbs graduate 25-30 still not earning… and whatever they are earning is spent buying test series, question banks, attending a famous teacher class… Then is it fair on their parts to charge 5000/- per subject… my point is simple… they should charge but should charge less…
